Christmas Countdown – Number 7

I should warn you in advance, the next few posts will be food-related. If you know me at all, this won’t surprise you.

So, number 7 on my Luxembourg/Christmas countdown is the Luxembourg International Bazaar, which is held once a year. It’s a huge charity event with stands from 58 countries around the world selling traditional food and crafts. We avoided the UK stand, which was introducing unsuspecting customers to marmite and iron bru, and went on a culinary adventure from Spain, to Canada, to Egypt, pacing ourselves and planning carefully so as to eat the most food possible – it was for charity, after all. We also lost track of time browsing the book stand, which was selling books on all kind of subjects in a variety of languages.
