CinEast is a Central and Eastern European film festival which takes place in Luxembourg every October – this year was the 7th edition. I bought a festival pass for €20 – a bargain, since it gives you unlimited access to any of the 50 films shown at the festival.
The festival was an absolutely brilliant opportunity to see films I wouldn’t usually have the chance to watch, simply because I don’t know about them and, in my experience at least, UK cinemas don’t tend to show that many foreign films. I made the most of pass, attending a variety of films and documentaries from a cult Czech comedy (Cosy Dens) to short film marathons.
